The Citizen CLP-7002
The CLP-7002 is the best value, heavy duty thermal transfer printer we could find.  With full DataMax DMX-400 compatibility plus a rugged industrial strength steel cabinet and frame, this printer bundled with the LabelRIGHT Thermal printing software is an outstanding value.  The CLP-7002 is capable of printing all industry standard bar codes including PDF 417.  The CLP-7002 features standard memory of 2MB DRAM, allowing for up to 32 inch print speeds of up to 6 inches per second.  The Citizen CLP-7002's clamshell print module allows for ease of operation when changing thermal transfer ribbons and roll or fan fold label supplies.  The printer supports up to 4.1 inch wide label stock and prints at 203 dpi.  It also features a front control panel with a LCD readout and 3 button control configuration, providing for superior, easy-to-use control of all printer functions and diagnostics.  The CLP-7002 is the best choice for high volume, high speed print jobs, as well as quick on-demand printing.  This printer is extremely durable and is the printer we recommend for industrial use applications.  The CLP-7002 comes with the LabelRIGHT Thermal software, cable, a roll of labels, and a ribbon for $1,345.00
 
 

The DMX E-4203
The DMX E-4203 printer features a minimal footprint for small-job labeling where space is confined.  Though small, this printer is packaged with features such as drop-in media and ribbon loading, and easy access for printhead cleaning.

The DMX E-4203 3 inch per second print speed is continuous in both portrait and landscape (printing landscape bar codes on faster rated printers can slow your print speed to less than 1/3 the rated speed!).  The printer is not industrial quality.  It is meant for low to medium volume printing.  Although the DMX E-4203 is the least configurable of the 2 printers, it is a good as a light-duty printer, small volume print jobs and desktop labeling.  The DMX E-4203 printer is sold with the Thermal Transfer option factory installed, LabelRIGHT Thermal software, interface cables and a roll of ribbon and labels for $585.00

Easy Design Interface
The design interface takes full advantage of Windows facilities to give you a viewable label on the screen as you design it, using pull down menus and toolbars.  Lines, boxes, rotations and multiple bar code densities are easily specified.  A full complement of design tools (grids, undo, zoom etc.) make the interface powerful but simple.  A comprehensive online help menu plus a manual is provided.  Very complex labels can be quickly and easily designed, then saved to disk for later retrieval.  Special printer settings can be saved with individual label designs, making subsequent printing of those labels quick and easy.

Outstanding Printer Support
By printing directly to the printer, LabelRIGHT Thermal for Windows prints 2 to 3 times faster than other printer packages on the market.  For example a 4 by 6 inch AIAG label may take 3 seconds to print using LabelRIGHT Thermal and its 'direct to printer' print routines.  The same label can take up to 5 MINUTES to print when using a standalone Windows printer driver.
