The iBR9000 is the newest in a family
of iButton readers from Videx. Small and lightweight, yet extremely
durable, iBR9000 is ideal for use in any checkpoint application where you
need to know who was there, and when they were there.
The high-impact fiberglass-reinforced
nylon case provides exceptional protection to the electronics inside, and
the read head is made of stainless steel. This reader easily withstands
repeated six-foot drops. The "9000" part of the name refers to the
number of iButton reads the iBR9000 stores in memory between downloads
to the computer. Transferring this stored data is easy: iBR9000
makes an infrared connection directly to an infrared port on a laptop,
to our USB-to-infrared device called the IR Encoder, or even to a Window
Mobile PDA cell phone in the field..............
